The new Trane hyperion air handler has many benefits to offer the consumer. Lets take a look at these new advantages that the Trane hyperion air handler has to offer. The entire air handler is covered in a hard and durable plastic with the insulation on the inside. This makes it easy to wipe off any mold that grows on the inside of the unit. The emergency heater is located at the top of the unit above the coil. The coil is made from aluminum so corrosion andor leaks are less likely to occur. The expansion valve located in the coil is electronic and can switch from R–22 to R-410A with the flip of a switch. The panel has 2 easy twist tabs to remove the cover. Take a listen to how thick the plastic is as Jeff knocks on it. The filter is located at the bottom of the air handler and easily accessible with removal of just the lower panel.
